Dr. Joana Machado

Dr. Joana Machado was born in Lisbon, Portugal, and after graduating moved to England, where she lived and worked, as a general dentist.

Before moving to Jersey with her husband, Dr. Hugo Raimundo, Joana worked in Central London, in Westminster and Marylebone areas, for the past couple of years.

Joana is passionate about all fields of restorative and cosmetic dentistry, but especially Orthodontics. She has completed extensive training in that field, both in the UK and abroad, and she is currently undertaking an MSc in Orthodontics at Warwick University.

Outside work, Joana Machado is a very sociable person, who enjoys playing golf and volleyball, the gym and riding her bike.
