Dr. Joana Machado was born and grew up in Lisbon (Portugal), where she also graduated as a dentist, in 2006. Soon after graduation, Joana moved to England (London), where she worked for 5 years before moving permanently to Jersey.​

​

Joana is extremely passionate about Orthodontics and she always keen to follow the new advances in that field of dentistry, attending several courses and conferences every year. Joana can offer a wide range of orthodontic treatment options, including Fixed Braces, Clear Aligners and Functional Appliances .

​

Outside of work Joana spends most of her time with her 2 daughters and husband (Dr. Hugo Raimundo). On her “little” spare time, she enjoys going for walks, playing golf or tennis. She loves to travel and explore new destinations!
