Our Team
Our friendly and approachable team is here for you and our priority is to make you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.
We understands that for many patients dental visits are very stressful and it takes a lot of self-motivation and courage for them to even book the initial appointment, let alone to have the treatment done.
We have a great deal of experience in caring for anxious, nervous and dental phobic patients.
Every time we are very proud of your success.
We have now successfully treated a number of anxious patients who have become a regular attenders and feel so much more comfortable in the dental chair.
If you would like to book a free initial visit to get to know us and get a tour of the practice and familiarise yourself with the surroundings before you book your exam or treatment appointment please contact us today.
Oral Sedation
We can prescribe a special medication that can be taken one tablet the night before, on the morning off and one, one hour before your planned treatment. Because this medication will make you fell drowsy you must be accompanied to you appointment and you are not allowed to drive for 24 hours.

Nervous Patients
Virtually Painless Injections
Virtually painless anaesthesia and no numb lips with Quicksleeper.
If you need a local anaesthetic we can use a new piece of equipment called Quickleeper, which will enable us to provide you with an effective local anaesthetic which is normally entirely pain- free and does not cause your lip or tongue to go numb.
This means you will not experience “the thick lip” which often occurs with conventional local anaesthetic, so you will be able to talk and drink normally as soon as you leave the surgery. There will also be no risk of biting either your lip or tongue because cannot feel it because it is numb.
The Practice Team is available to discuss any further questions you may have about this new form of treatment.
Sedation
At Jersey Smile Centre we can also offer sedation (commonly known as “Twilight Sedation“) for patients who feel very anxious or nervous.
Our visiting anaesthetists who administer the sedation and will monitor you very closely thought the procedure.
We are confident you will feel comfortable, relaxed and in safe hands.
